McKayla McGuire is a freshman who is hardworking and loves to succeed. This is her first year of being a part of the Bark, and she is a contributor. She plays many sports, including soccer, basketball, and track. McKayla has been playing basketball ever since third grade, soccer since eighth grade, and track since seventh grade. During her free time, McKayla loves to read, be outside, and spend time with her family. She loves to read so much that she reads over one hundred books every year! McKayla has two dogs, two cats, and a couple of fish in her pond. She is a dog person, so her canines, Jaq and Gus, are her favorites. (Don’t tell her cats!) After high school, McKayla plans to go to school to be a pediatrician or a zoologist.
