German 3 — Castle

Lacey LaBorde, Contributor

The students in Mrs. Liberato’s German 3 class have been working on building a castle for the hallway outside her room. She has wanted this castle built for eight years.

In class, the students have been learning about different castles. They read articles about the castles of Germany. Also, the students watch videos on all  kinds of castles. The castle is made from foam pieces wrapped in paper. The students have made the bricks out of cardboard pieces and painted each of them black. The tops of the castle is also made of foam as well.

By the time this castle is finished, the students hope to have the castle hanging in the hall with lights strung across the top of the castle. Go to the shop wing in front of Room 126 to check out the finished product.
