Love is in the air, like it is every February. We all know how it goes on February 14th. Boyfriends give girlfriends gifts, and there are tons of heart shape boxes of chocolates every time you go into the store. Valentine’s Day isn’t about who has the most, cutest, or more romantic gift. It is about showing you care about your boyfriend or girlfriend–and being left out if you don’t have a special someone! Seriously, it doesn’t matter if you have a boyfriend or girlfriend to celebrate the holiday; you can love who you have in your life, like your friends and family.
Valentine’s Day is the day we get to focus on each other and remember those people who make every day special. Try to remember you have someone who cares for and loves you. Love doesn’t happen only on February 14th; it is every day. Valentine’s Day is the day we just choose to show how we feel.
So, look forward to this Valentine’s Day. Bring your best friend a box of chocolate and say you love her as a sister. Boyfriends, don’t dread about finding the perfect gift. Whatever you get, your girlfriend will love it because it came from you. Forget about the anti-Valentine’s Day parties. Have a party to celebrate the love you do have in your life. This Valentine’s Day, don’t forget to breath in the love in the air…even though it is really only oxygen.
