If you have walked through the senior wing recently, you may have noticed the awesome posters hanging up near Mrs. Lightner’s room. The posters were created by students in Anatomy and Physiology. The purpose of this assignment was to help students learn the structure of the skeletal system and the divisions of bones. The posters also served as the foundation for understanding how the skeletal system works with the muscular system.

The students were instructed to create a hand-drawn skeleton that included all of the major bones. The skeleton had to be anatomically accurate in relative size and shapes of the bones. The posters also had to have a theme with a catchy, bone-related name. Attached is a slide show of some of the posters Mrs. Lightner’s students have created.
