The Eternal City written by Paula Morris is a wonderful book about a girl and on a class trip. Laura Martin and her classmates are in Rome. She has only one day before they go home, but then, the statues of the Roman gods come alive! At first she believes she is going crazy.   Although she soon realizes she isn’t and she is in the middle of a battle of the Roman gods. Laura and her new friends are the only ones who can stop the war, but they don’t know how. As her teacher and classmates lie sick in a hostel, Laura and her friends go through Rome looking for clues.

I really enjoyed this book! I give it a 4 out of 4
