Bible Club Summary: April 11, 2016

Christina Kopnitsky, Writer

Verse of the Week:

Philippians 4:6

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

Today’s lesson was given by Kelli Reichard, a guest speaker and mom to Aiden and Ethan Reichard.  The main topic of her lesson was that the Word of God is our lifeline.  A verse concerning almost any topic imaginable can be found in the Bible.  She shared with us that throughout different struggles and oppositions, as well as times of peace, the Word of God was there for her to fall back on.

Every day we need to spend time with God whether it is praying or reading.  After all, how can you be in a relationship with someone if you don’t even know them? Furthermore, when you are trying to learn something, especially when the text could be difficult in the Bible, try using all different types of influence. Also, try checking out apps with different Biblical translations.

Some of today’s scripture came from Psalm 119: 105 “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” From that verse, we can conclude that through everything in life, the Word of God is what guides us and provides us the vision we need to see the world the way that God does.

Have you spent time with Your Savior today?
