Snow Camp is rapidly approaching and if you are planning to go and haven’t yet signed up, you need to do so as soon as possible; there are approximately 20 spots left.  If you are going, it’s rapidly approaching (super exciting)!

Verse of the Week:

2 Corinthians 4:18

“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”

The lesson today was given by Mackenzie and it was on building your relationship with God.  She illustrated the lesson by telling a story of a time she went to a friends house, and had a close call accident on the way home.  She thought of two things: 1)Her dad would be mad if she wrecked her car and 2)She prayed.  Do you only reach out to God when you are in trouble, or do seek time with Him on a daily basis no matter the circumstances? Why do we do this? It’s because we try to do things on our own despite the fact that we KNOW we are incapable without the help of God.

Today’s scripture was found in John 13:7: “Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” as well as Habakkuk 1:2 “How long, Lord, must I call for help, but you do not listen Or cry out to you, “Violence!” but you do not save?”

As Christians, it is so vital for us to spend time with God no matter if your life is going fantastic or if you’re going through  a rough spot.  Did you spend time with God today?
