After splitting last week’s 4 games, the real contenders have made themselves known, as only 4 teams remain.

(2) Patriots: Predicted Winner

(1) Broncos

It will be yet another matchup of Brady-Manning in the AFC Championship game, but this matchup is slightly different than the others we’ve seen in the past. Brady had yet another phenomenal season, throwing for 4,770 yards and 36 TDs to just 7 interceptions, but Peyton was a completely different story. After starting only 9 games this season due to injury, Manning seems to be stumbling near the end of his career, throwing 9 touchdowns to 17 interceptions. That said, he seemed to regain his composure in the season finale against the Chargers and played well last week against Pittsburgh. That said, it’s the same old story; Brady and the Pats are unstoppable and I see them advancing to their 7th Super Bowl in the Brady-Belichick era.

(2) Cardinals

(1) Panthers: Predicted Winner

This game is the definition of an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object. Two of the NFL’s best offenses will square off, and two of the best defenses, in the same game. Cam Newton and Carson Palmer are two of the best QBs in the league. Both threw for 35 TDs, both led their teams to unexpected seasons, and both are MVP Candidates. For the Panthers, they were all about the run game, leading the NFL in rushing offense. The Cardinals were a team who relied a little more on the pass. In the end though, I think that the Panthers defense will be too much for the Cardinals to handle and I see the Panthers coming out on top.

A Super Bowl XXXVIII rematch is what I see happening at the end of Championship week. Am I right? After Sunday, we will know.
