Mrs. Gruver’s Students: Hard At Work!
December 16, 2015
Mrs. Gruver’s Horticulture and FFA students have been especially busy during this time of year, preparing different festive decorations and fundraisers for themselves and the communtiy. Horticulture 2 and 3 students have been busy creating Christmas wreaths and centerpieces of all shapes and sizes, while FFA members work hard to collect all the food donated to this year’s food drive. Students throughout the school brought in more that 1,700 food items that were then donated to the Redbank Valley Food pantry. It’s a contest every year to see which homeroom will bring in the most food items, and this year, the prize of a delicious Christmas breakfast goes to Mr. Fricko’s homeroom. Finally, FFA students wrap up their time of giving buy unloading their annual citrus fundraiser. FFA has been selling citrus as their main fundraiser for over 25 years!
Mrs. Gruver would like to thank the students of RVHS that participated in the food drive, and the community for supporting their citrus fundraiser.
