Help Beef Up the Blood Supply!

FFA is hosting an American Red Cross blood drive in the high school gym on Thursday, March 26. All accepted donors will receive a free hamburger after the donation process.
- Students must be at least 16 years old to donate.
- All students must have completed the parental permission form to be able to donate.
- Check the donation specifications.
- Do not wait until the day before the blood drive to eat and drink healthy.
Registration:
- Make sure to bring your photo ID and your signed parent consent form.
- Bring the names of medications that you are taking.
- Bring a list of the places you have traveled outside the US and Canada in the last 12 months.
To be eligible you MUST:
- Be at least 17 years old or 16 with parental consent.
- Meet height and weight requirements (at least 110 pounds based on your height).
- Be in generally good health.
Before donating you should:
- Get a good night’s sleep.
- Drink plenty of fluids.
- Eat within 2-3 hours.
Be sure to bring your:
- Donor card or government issued photo ID.
- Parental consent form if you are 16 years old.
- Wear clothing with sleeves that can be raised above the elbow.
