Saying Goodbye to the Seniors

Owen Fricko (#19) is a defender for the Bulldogs. In his 6 plus years of soccer, his favorite memory was finding out the team made it to playoffs his Junior year. In his time at Redbank, he’s learned a sense of teamwork and leadership, and he says he’ll carry it with him through the rest of his life. Something Fricko will miss most is his teammates; “the broskis.”  His parting words of wisdom to future players is “Never give up. The score should always be 0-0 in your head.” 

Ty Sherry (#5) is a midfielder for the Bulldogs. In his 2 years of soccer, his favorite memories are from the many bus rides home. Sherry says he liked to discuss the game with the team and relieve some stress. In his time at Redbank, he’s learned that teamwork works better than trying to be independent. What Ty will miss most is being around his friends and just working as a team. His parting words of wisdom to future players is “Try to always keep a positive attitude, even whenever your team is letting you down.” 

Owen Magagnotti (#20/42) is a goalie for the Bulldogs. In his 2 years of soccer, his favorite memory was making the All Conference Team his first year of soccer. In his time at Redbank, he’s learned to go out of his comfort zone, and he says he’ll carry it with him through the rest of his life. Something Mags will miss most is being with all his friends.  His parting words of wisdom to future players is “Work hard; because it pays off.” 

Kyle Watkins (#9) is a defender for the Bulldogs. In his 4 years of soccer, his favorite memory was watching his brother “throw a kid to the ground.” In his time at Redbank, he’s learned communication skills, and he says he’ll carry it with him through the rest of his life. Something Watkins will miss most is his teammates.  His parting words of wisdom to future players is “Don’t be afraid of the ball, and ‘do or do not, there is no try.’”

Landon Pence (#4) is a midfielder for the Bulldogs. In his 4 years of soccer, his favorite memory was finding out the team made it to playoffs for the first time in 9 years. In his time at Redbank, he’s learned a sense of teamwork, and he says he’ll carry it with him through the rest of his life. Something Pence will miss most is “the crew.”  His parting words of wisdom to future players is “Go into every game with a positive attitude.” 

Quinlan Griffin (#23) is a defender/midfielder for the Bulldogs. In his 13-ish years of soccer, his favorite memory was Kacy and Daniel getting into a fight. In his time at Redbank, he’s learned that teamwork. Something Griffin will miss most is being with the team and being able to play in games.  His parting words of wisdom to future players is “Always remember that someone is better than you, and strive to be as good as them.” 

Nolan Smith (#10) is a midfielder for the Bulldogs. In his 12 years of soccer, his favorite memory was hitting the game-winning goal in a playoff game last year. In his years of soccer, he’s learned to “work hard at you love”, and he says he’ll carry it with him through the rest of his life. Something Smith will miss most is the friendships and family he’s made.  His parting words of wisdom to future players is “Work hard all the time, go above and beyond, and keep working.” 

Koltin Kline (#7) is a forward for the Bulldogs. In his 12 years of soccer, his favorite memory was hitting the game winner against Forest his 10th grade year. In his time at Redbank, he’s learned to never give up, and he says he’ll carry it with him through the rest of his life. Something Kline will miss most is scoring goals.  His parting words of wisdom to future players is “Practice in the off season.”
