Dr. Seuss Day

February 9, 2015
Many of us are familiar with Dr. Seuss Day, and the time has come once again to volunteer to help out!
For those that are not familiar with this event, Dr. Seuss Day is a whole day set aside to celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss. High school students volunteer to run this event for the primary and intermediate schools. For your part in this event, you may choose any Dr. Seuss book as long as you have an activity to go along with it. For example, in previous years the book Yertle the Turtle was featured and the students played out a court room scenario between Yertle and one of the turtles that was injured in the book. This event is an amazing experience for the younger and older students.
Please see Miss. Boyles or Mrs. Layton in the library for more information and permission slips.
A MANDATORY DR. SEUSS MEETING WILL BE HELD IN THE LIBRARY DURING 9TH PERIOD THIS WEDNESDAY, FEBURARY 11, 2015!

Awesome Seuss story! I could not have written it any better. Maybe we can feature some pictures from the festivities later?
