Student of the Week – 1/6/20
This week, sophomore Mia Gourley was chosen as the Student of the Week.
Q: What are your hobbies and extracurricular school activities?
A: I love baking and reading. I am also in SPARK club, soccer, gifted, and sometimes participate in youth council.
Q: When you get screen time, what are you viewing?
A: I’m always watching Netflix; I think I have a problem…
Q: What is your favorite memory from high school so far?
A: The soccer bus and lunch conversations are always interesting.
Q: Where is one place on the planet you would like to visit someday? Why?
A: I would like to visit New Zealand because they have these cool hotels that are bubbles. Also, it’s very pretty.
Q: Favorite Class Subject and why:
A: My favorite class is Biology 2 because I find that biology is very interesting. I especially like genetics; you can’t go wrong with those.
Q: If you could have dinner with anyone from the past or the present, who would it be and why?
A: I would have dinner with my Uncle Nathan because he died when I was one, so I don’t really remember him.
Q: If you had to write a thank-you note to a person who has taught you an important life lesson, who would it be? What lesson did you learn?
A: I would write a note to my mother because she has taught me many things, all of which are important to me.
Q: What is your passion, as of right now in high school?
A: I want to go to school for nursing. I would like to be a nurse for awhile but then go back to school for Midwifery.
