The yearly 9th grade Washington D.C. trip organized by Mr. Fricko is a great way to start the year and something  everyone looks forward to. During the trip the students attended many memorials and tours including the Lincoln Memorial, World War II, Iwo Jima, Martin Luther King, Mount Vernon, Ford’s Theater, and The Petersen House. The class also watched the changing of the guard at the Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier, and student council Participated in the wreath laying ceremony. In between going to all the memorials and tours there was time to eat and shop at Golden Corral, The Pentagon City Mall, Abe´s gift shop (where the Washington D.C. Hoodies and souvenirs are bought), Bolt Burger, and Union Station. The trip was very fun, and there were memories made that will last a lifetime.
