The Redbank Valley members of the Clarion County Youth Council are sponsoring Red Ribbon Week here at RVHS.  Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign that began in 1985 and observed annually in October in the United States.  According to the United States DEA, Red Ribbon Week is the nation’s largest and longest-running drug awareness and prevention program.  Youth Council has proclaimed the follow dress-up days for drug awareness:

Monday- “Red Out” Wear red

Tuesday- “Put a cap on drugs” Wear a hat

Wednesday- “No Drugs, No Sweat” Wear sweatpants

Thursday- “Drugs can haunt you” Wear spooky colors (orange, purple, black)

As always, Fridays are RED AND WHITE days!  Go Dogs!
