This week’s Junior High Student Feature is Logan Johnston, a  seventh grade student at Redbank Valley High School. In an interview with The Bark, Logan shared a little about himself.

Do you like high school better than elementary school? Why or why not?

Yes, I like high school better because it is more fun. There is study hall instead of recess, and the days don’t feel as long as they did in elementary school.

What are your thoughts on high school so far?

High school has been very good so far.

What is your favorite class or classes this year?  Why?

Mr. Carrier, Mr. Rex, and Mrs. McNaughton are my favorite teachers.

What extracurricular activities or clubs do you participate in?

I participate in Vex Club.

What do you expect the rest of your high school career to look like?

I expect it to look good because I’m going to get better grades and participate in more things, like wrestling.

Logan’s English teacher Mrs. DiGiammarino states, “Logan is a joy to have in class. He is very helpful and always happy to work with his peers. He is funny and very well-liked by everyone.”

The Bark will feature a junior high student each week by random selection.  We hope you enjoy getting to know some of the newer faces at Redbank Valley High School.
