Redbank Valley’s Track Invitational goes back to the 1990’s and has been a part of the track schedule ever since. It is an individual competition between the schools and it is the last chance for most athletes to make it to districts. Every year about 13 to 16 schools come. A female thrower from Virginia even came to throw javelin since her school doesn’t have that event. Her coach, Jake Smith, is a graduate of Redbank.

Mr. Fricko, Girls’ Track coach is hoping for an additional 3 to 5 people to qualify for districts.  “With the new track, I am really looking to watch some fast people.”

Redbank’s Austin Rupp and Taylor King qualified for districts yesterday.
