Did Someone Say “Girls’ Trip”?

Through the blisters and sore feet, we made it. Ten of the senior choir and band girls took at trip to Washington, D.C. recently.   Mrs. McIntire, the music teacher,  and three other adults chaperoned. We rented out a five bedroom house, which made the trip seem like a family vacation.  Students were able to view many of the memorials in D. C.  and tour the Smithsonian Museum.  They also enjoyed a Broadway musical,  The Wiz, at Ford’s theater.  After the play was over, the pit orchestra invited the students to look at the different instruments and see how a pit works.  Finally, what’s a girls’ trip without visiting the NYC Sephora store?  It was a wonderful to spend a weekend as one big RV music family.
