Strawberry Fields Forever – The Beatles

In the 1960s, The Beatles were the start of The British Invasion.  The British Invasion was the birth of modern rock in the United States, brought to us from British artists.   Bands like The Rolling Stones, The Byrds, The Who, and most importantly The Beatles came to the United States. The Beatles were the most popular band throughout the 60s. They impacted not only the United States, but the world. They influenced other bands,  clothing style, festivals, and even movies. “Strawberry Fields Forever” is one of The Beatles more sentimental songs. The song may sound upbeat and catchy, but in reality it has a much more sentimental meaning. “Strawberry Fields” is the name of a Salvation Army home that John Lennon used to attend. His fond memories are, in fact, the base meaning of the song.
