The Bark

  • All 7th and 8th grade girls who are interested in playing JR High volleyball please sign up in the cafeteria.

  • Marching Band attending the laser tag and bowling trip-the bus leaves at 5pm today. We will return around 11pm.

  • Any 8th and 11th grade student who owes candy money needs to get it to Mrs. Weaver by TODAY!

This Student of the Week is Owen Magagnotti.   Let’s get to know this outstanding student.

Q. After School Activities:

A. Football.

Q. Favorite book, its author and why:

A. The Alex Rider series. It is padded full of adventures and action.

Q. Personal Hero and why:

A. Stephen Curry. He has overcome countless hardships that some did not think were possible. I look up to him for personal motivation and remind myself  that I can do anything if I work for it.

Q. Preferred or dream job:

A. Biologist/ Professional Basketball Player.

Q. Highlight of your high school experience 
A. Getting a 115/110 on a history test and 61/56 on my bio test.

Q.What is your favorite subject?

A. Biology

Q. If you could create your own high school course, what would it be called and what would it teach?

A. I would create a class called History of War and it would teach about all wars in the past.

Q. What are three things you would like to accomplish by age 30:

A. I would like to visit at least 25 states. I would like to own a large house and a nice family. I would like to achieve fame.

Q.If you could spend one year abroad , where would you go and why?

A. Germany. I can speak a good portion of their language and enjoy their culture and rich history. I’d also like to see all the historical monuments.
